It’s No BS – Dreams DO Come True!

by Mastin Kipp on February 23, 2012

Today is one of those days that I just can’t believe came!

A dream came true today that I am still just beyond excited about and in denial about.

Oprah is taking Life Class on the road to St. Louis and to New York City. She has invited Tony Robbins, Deepak Chopra, Iyanla Vazant and TD Jakes to join her as experts LIVE! And I have been offered a position as a “VIP” Blogger to cover Lifeclass Live! Which means that the folks at Harpo are taking me on the road with Oprah!  I make up that “VIP” stands for Very Inspiring Person, because we are all equally important.

It’s crazy! If you want to enter the lottery for free tickets, click here.

The blog today is not about bragging, it’s about taking a moment to be like – whoa. But that’s not all. Two weeks ago at the Agape event that I spoke at, I walked into the VIP Room and found that Louise Hay was there. She had driven up from San Diego to meet Jenna and me.

I was floored. And I was double-floored because I had gotten the Oprah news just a few hours before. It was so amazing to meet Louise. Her presence was simply divine and she radiated joy and Love that only she could.

After meeting Louise that night, a few days went by and she emailed me early in the morning asking if I would speak at a Hay House event in November – and I started to cry tears of joy.

Three years ago in an 8×8 room, with no money, no bright or compelling future, I made a vision board of some things that seemed so over the top. On the vision board was the love of my life, Oprah, Hay House and The Huffington Post. It seemed almost impossible.

Well today, I am in the reality of going on tour with Oprah (and Tony Robbins), speaking at a Hay House event and having a content distribution deal with the Huffington Post – and most importantly, being in a relationship with my boo Jenna.

The vision board is now a reality.

I say all this not to brag, not to boast, but to go HOLY SH*T guys! If I can do it, you can do it!

There is no force greater than persistence, than adding value to other people’s lives and to surrender to the will of The Uni-verse.

I literally got the download from The Uni-verse and just didn’t doubt it. And acted on it moment by moment – every day. And each time I had to step outside of my comfort zone and each time I was either caught or I learned how to fly.

I am beyond excited and so humbled by these opportunities that I am writing about. This is the true physical manifestation of a dream and vision that only a few years ago seemed impossible and larger than life.

So today, what dream do you have that seems larger than life? Can you act on it and try UNTIL? Can you doubt your doubt and believe your dreams? What would that look like in your life? Let me know, leave a comment or send an email to WhatImGoingThru@TheDailyLove.com

Love,

Mastin

Wow Mastin, congratulations and so inspiring! I really feed off your words and take tiny steps of progress towards my dreams each day – sometimes it scares me then I think of what u said about dealing with uncertainty, and focus on how much my life has progressed….it’s amazing!! I too recently had a aha moment, but it was more like a puff of smoke than a gust of wind – today I prayed as it was almost like a slow step backwards from my elated feeling from a few days ago – I told the Uni-verse I’m ready to take a giant leap of faith into the unknown for an amazing life experience ….I would like to manifest more support in my life though as I have crashed too many times with no one but me in my aid.

Hearing this today builds hope for me too, best of luck Mastin….so happy for you xxxxx

Mastin.  You have given me chills.  It is TOTALLY true, I am living through a very similar experience, although, this post has inspired me to aim just a bit higher.  I’m just laughing with delight and giving you a virtual high five right now.   I think the most important takeaway from this is that it TAKES TIME.  it’s not overnight, you take the downtimes with the goodtimes, keep focused, gracious, and grateful.  I’ve been a Tony Robbins devotee most of my life and I have to say I have gotten EVERYTHING I have ever really dreamed of and worked for and it’s what makes life so fun.  Cheers to you Mastin and thanks so much for celebrating YOU today!!!!!   :*)

  • Dennis

Mastin, your words of wisdom inspire me to to pave the path of my life desires and then know that I’m worthy and deserving of taking the journey one step at a time# :)

Congratulations, Mastin! Your blog has changed my life. I, too, had set a vision for myself and with the help of an amazing mentor who gave me the greatest gift of believing in the power of positivity and affirmations, coupled with the daily support of your blog, I achieved every single one of my dreams. I was in what I considered to be my quarter-life crisis, unsure if the path I had chosen was the right for me, unhappy with my current job/life, and living in a city that I didn’t love (and hundreds of miles away from family and friends).  One day, I decided to surround myself with pictures of my dreams (my vision board was in my office cube, ha!), set a deadline for my goals, and wrote down affirmations in the present tense of my hopes and dreams – which at the time seemed so far-fetched. The more I began to believe in my plan and the harder I worked towards my plan, the more opportunities came. There were lots of opportunities that came and didn’t work out. In hindsight, they were variations or detours of what I truly dreamt of. But I always held onto the faith that the right opportunity would come…The Uni-Verse was just creating it for me. Three years later, everything I dreamed of came true. When I drive in this new city of mine, in the city and in the job that I envisioned myself in and believed in, I can’t help but smile. I’m finally closer to my loved ones and I couldn’t be happier. This post was not meant to be boastful – this belief was the greatest gift I’ve ever received – and the greatest gift I believe I can share… to let others know that you can TRULY do anything you put your mind, body, and soul into. You’ve posted a quote here once before Mastin, that I live by: “In order to achieve great things, we must first dream, then visualize, then plan…believe…act!”. The other quote I live by, from none other than Oprah herself: “I don’t believe in luck. Luck is preparation meeting the moment of opportunity.”

Thank you for the wondeful gift of your blog. It has been such a light to my life and so many others. And congratulations again to you on achieving your dreams! I can’t wait to hear more about the Oprah tour!!!

  • Nadine :)

First off, I want to say CONGRATULATIONS!! :)

As usual, this was a perfectly timed post because feelings of fear and hopelessness have been creeping into my head the past couple days as I am  in my version of your ”
8×8 room, with no money, no bright or compelling future” stage.  I can’t thank you enough for your inspiration and reassurance to keep my chin up and keep moving forward day by day toward my dream.  Your success story gives me motivation and hope that I will one day have the same “dream come true” experience you are currently having :) Keep up the good work!!!  <3

Mastin, I am so excited to hear this news. Your blog inspires me every day! I’ve had friends ask me where I get my inspiration. How do I remain optimistic even in the midst of great adversity? Your blog is one of the many inspirations that bring me such great perspective. Some topics are such a wonderful reminder of tools I’ve learned and practice and other blogs are eye-opening and enhance my journey.
I started making a Vision Board every year with a wonderful group of ladies I call my “Goddess Group”. This particular group of women are so inspiring, accepting and supportive. The 1st Vision Board I created was just as I separated from my ex-hubby, after my dance teacher of 8 years decided to move away to another state, and just as I was becoming independent after many years of feeling lost. There was a section for spirituality, travel, deepened relationships, and in the middle was a huge section on dance. I put it up behind my kitchen sink where I could read it while doing dishes. It was also pretty and I loved looking at it and reading the inspirational quotes and looking at the pictures/visions of what might be on my journey. I had never done one before. It was fun creating it too because other than dance, I hadn’t expressed my artistic side in years. Making a collage of the things I wanted to manifest was so much fun!
Anyway, within a year, everything on that vision board came to fruition. Not only that, I worked with 2 of my fellow dance-mates and we created our own dance company and didn’t lose any of the previous students that were our peers. We only knew one thing and that was we knew we would continue dancing no matter what. Now, just 3 years later, we have built relationships with other dance troupes in the area and are being invited to perform at events hosted by other groups. I never could have imagined where this would lead. But, that very 1st Vision Board taught me so much! I truly began to understand the power of manifestation and how powerful it can be.
I’m so happy to hear that you’ve manifested such a wonderful life after living in the “low” for so many years. I know that with this collective energy that is created out of LOVE for our passions will change the WORLD!
    CONGRATULATIONS!!!
    -Ali

Congratulations!!  This is such an awesome post — I am so happy for you!  I absolutely love vision boards and truly believe in their power…I also believe in the power of physically writing out lists of goals; it’s worked wonders for me!  Today, I also entered the lottery for tickets for the NY Oprah taping…I hadn’t seen your post beforehand.  Coincidence?  Nah ;)
