How great would it be to have an all access pass to a fabulous five-star restaurant stocked with all your favorite foods – bread and cheese, wine and chocolate, luscious fruits, freshly caught fish? If every ingredient you could possibly want to create the most perfect meal imaginable was at your fingertips, and all you had to do is place your order?
Well, I have some good news. The Uni-verse we live in is a lot like a well-stocked kitchen in a five-star restaurant in the sense that it comes fully equipped with everything we need to design a delicious, joyful, magnificent life. Just think about this: Every possible reality that a human being is capable of experiencing is available to each one of us, in this moment and in every moment. Some of these experiences will make their way into our lives; others will sail right by us as unclaimed possibilities. But which of these ultimately happens is neither a matter of luck nor of fate. In fact, by understanding and applying a few simple Uni-versal principles, we can deliberately manifest experiences of our choosing and hasten the fulfillment of our desires. When you know the rules, designing an extraordinary life can be as effortless as ordering up your favorite meal or playing a really fun game! Here is one of the first essential rules of Deliberate Creation:
What we ask for, we receive.
Desire is one of the most potent forces in the Uni-verse. The moment we become aware of an unmet desire, a powerful vibration is generated within us. As this vibration gains clarity and strength, it is broadcasted energetically to everyone and everything, and actually begins to mobilize the exact resources and opportunities that will bring about its fulfillment. Through the power of our desire, whether spoken or unspoken, we ask, and the Uni-verse answers by drawing to us that which we have asked for.
But wait a second, you say. Plenty of people are asking – for more money, more love, more fun, or more success – but these things have yet to come knocking at the door. So what gives? The answer to this question lies in understanding the second rule of Deliberate Creation:
To manifest what we’ve asked for, we must be open to receive it.
The beliefs we hold to be true about ourselves and the world around us either attract or repel the success, love, and abundance we desire. The things we tell ourselves about what is and isn’t possible, and the way we feel about ourselves at the deepest level, determine to a large extent how much of what we have asked for we are open to receive. For example, if you desire to fall deeply in love while simultaneously holding the belief that love can’t be trusted, or that it’s fleeting or hard to find, these beliefs will color your perception and limit your ability to recognize the love you are seeking. Likewise, if you desire greater success or more abundance but worry that achieving these will take too big a toll on your personal life, you may be inadvertently holding yourself back from reaching the next level in your career.
The bottom line is this: Your most predominant thoughts, feelings and beliefs have made you what you are today. And what you think, feel and believe from this moment forward will influence what you will become – and also what will come to you. Enter the third rule of Deliberate Creation:
We magnetize external experiences that reflect our internal state of being.
Every thought, feeling and belief that arises within us resonates at a certain energetic frequency, and like a radio signal, we broadcast this frequency – invisibly but undeniably – to everyone and everything we come into contact with. And because we live in an energetic Uni-verse, we magnetize to ourselves energetic frequencies that are most similar to those which we ourselves send out. In other words, we draw to ourselves in the outer world people, events, and circumstances that most perfectly match our inner beliefs about ourselves. This is the essence of the Law of Attraction. Some of us use this powerful law to create lack, limitation, loneliness, and struggle. Others use the same power to generate a constant flow of love, prosperity, success, abundance, and joy. The feeling we get when something we want seems to fall effortlessly into place is not coincidence or some kind of magic. It is a result that unfolds naturally when our thoughts and beliefs are aligned with our desires – aka when we are an energetic match to that which we seek to attract.
The power to create is at your command. It is available in every moment and in every circumstance. You simply have to give yourself permission to be the powerful creator you were meant to be: acknowledge your desires, believe that they are possible, and receive that which you have been asking for.
