Mindful Smack: Own It!

If you’re sensing any weirdness in your family, OWN YOUR PART in it. However small, you’ve made a contribution to that weirdness, and once you own it, things will shift for you in the most unexpected ways. And expect nothing in return – just own your part. Whenever I feel off, once I own my part in any dynamic, I experience a boost in my teaching and my confidence. Own it. It’s good for the world, and it’s great for you.

    For the moment, I experience a lot of diffuculties in the dynamics of my family and I can admit that I have been focusing more on what “they do wrong” than my own part in all of it.
