    A prayer that each of us  should pray every day of our lives, as someone must be telling me.  This is the second time I’ve seen/heard this prayer today.

    Dear Mastin, I met you on Oprah’s Super Soul Sunday!  I have a question:  I’ve forgiven, pardoned, loved where there was hate, and it’s gotten me (metaphorically) beaten to a pulp;  hit aside the head with a two by four when I wasn’t looking, multiple times!  Is it possible that there are people/situations where this is NOT the best tactic?  Where one should be reminding oneself constantly that this person is a monster, and should be engaged with as minimally and carefully as possible?
