That said, as we wake up and face each day, begin to accept the person you are. Collectively, we are a Uni-versal creation, filled with many flaws, but when you face that mirror, begin to find gratitude in the world around you. Begin with your breath. You are here on this planet for a reason, live your authentic voice.
Remember, a diamond was only created after an immense amount of pressure. In life we will be thrown many cards that will challenge us as individuals, but trusting your inner voice is essential.
As cliché as ‘staying true to yourself’ may sound, it is a powerful life lesson to focus on. When we trust our inner voice, we will be guided toward the success we dream of. If we give in to outside pressures, we hold ourselves back from living our full potential, and often begin to live others dreams.
“Wanting to be someone else is a waste of who you are” ~ Kurt Cobain
A great example that comes to mind is Oprah. Although she may have started out her career following in the path of Barbara Walters, she soon realized being her best self will propel her towards her true success.
It often can be scary to step into your own shoes, and to own your story, but it’s an important step to embrace as your walk your spiritual path.
“Anybody pretending to be anything other than who you really are – you will never ever reach your personal potential.” ~ Oprah
I first realized this as I started growing up. I didn’t always fit in, didn’t like to play sports, but always trusted the inner voice telling me to believe in my dreams. Instead of focusing on the outside noise, I invested time in following my passions.
When people doubted me, it fueled my desire to prove to them what I was made of. When I first landed my book deal last summer, I had many flock to me doubting my ability to actually move forward with my first book. They often would ask “what do you even have to write about?” but I knew deep down I have a story to share. My life mission is to help others, and I know others will relate and begin to own their best life.
Own your story, and begin to take the step toward trusting your inner guide. Would LOVE to read your thoughts! Comment below so I can reply back! Sending you all so much love.
