The Daily Love
A place to Love and be Loved
What doesn’t kill me, emotionally it nearly did lol, only makes you stronger!
i just heard u say something on oprah that horrified me and i was astonished that no one on the panel really heard you: you basically said that to the extent one brings value into the world (is valuable to the world), is the extent to which he is rewarded.
Therefore, those of us who struggle financially and may have nothing, bring no value to this world, and those who have the means, however achieved, on the backs of others or not, are valued more and it is proved by the fact that they have money.
You had better be very very careful about viewing the world in this way, as many who had done so, having justified their behavior because of their financial “rewards” often have enslaved others physically or mentally. Beware.
I could be wrong but I don’t think when he spoke of ‘the value that you bring’ had anything to do with finances or how much money you have or don’t have.
….actually they were speaking of money itself, thats why i was so shocked. u can defend him all u want…go back and listen to it. the unconsciousness of it was what was astounding so much that no one else heard it either. go listen.
I had the same reaction about what Mastin said on Oprah. My thought was that he’s still young and after some life experiences he may not be so quick to judge a person’s value in any way. I enjoy this site and like to listen to people on t.v., but the whole time I have to remember the experts are just human beings like the rest of us. God bless!
Mastin’s meaning to me was that if you give peace and knowledge you’ll receive the same and more in return. whether or not its monetary or some other form of comfort you provide to others your own peace and comfort will be a result. You get what you give (peace). I hope that my view of the comment is received well.
I just blogged about this the other day. Sometimes it amazes me how in sync our energies are Mastin!!
