Telling the truth can be both emancipating and enslaving…my ’true’ self feels ‘lighter’ and less burdened after telling four adult children of my disappointment (in them) when they chose not to ‘show up’ for an important event in my life! However, their inability to accept ownership of their BS has created the very ‘reality’ I feared the most…loss of relationship! I am aware that I’ve empowered my relationhip with ‘self’ by telling the truth and shedding the compulsive self-reliance; I am also painfully aware of the consequences of that choice because EVEN ‘children’ living in adult bodies who have been ‘tribally’ taught to deny imperfections are not OK with authenticity!
The Truth is this: your fears and insecurities are only as real as you believe them to be. The Truth is that you're unlimited and free! #TDLabout 10 minutes ago
The Truth is that you're unlimited and free. Step into that. Are you willing? #TDLabout 1 hour ago
