The Daily Love
A place to Love and be Loved
When r u going to sleep and play? Inspirational but I got tired just reading it:).
I love your rituals list, perhaps because the healthy part was so similar to my own list – getting in various exercises, yoga and meditation are the rituals I strive to achieve. And when I am honest with myself, it isn’t that I don’t have enough time for all of it, it is that I don’t MAKE the time for it. The truth is, I procrastinate these things. and that is the very reason I need to make them rituals or habits, much like brushing my teeth automatically before bedtime, or getting my coffee in the morning. At the same time, I am determined to break some old habits that do not serve me anymore – like chewing on my lip, or checking my technology when I should be paying attention in meetings. In with the new and out with the old. A habit or ritual is simply something our brains lock into so why not lock them into the things that are good for us?
