Sometimes we forget how powerful we are. We tend to forget that every single spoken word and internalized thought is a direct message to Source. The Uni-verse hears you loud and clear – even when you whisper, and even when your thoughts are never spoken. We are ONE with The Uni-verse – in the same way that a single drop of water is a part of the vast and massive ocean, and in the same way every cell in our body isn’t separate from our being. We are intertwined, interconnected, and interdependent of the Energetic Magic we feel all around us.
Every thought that we have and every word that we speak has equal power and validation. It is the limiting beliefs that stop us dead in our tracks and the acceptance of our greatness that catapults us into endless possibilities. The only difference between you and someone who is more successful than you is the belief of being worthy enough to have that level of success.
When we believe that we are worthy enough to have everything we’ve ever wanted, we declare that we can – and WILL – take the action steps to make our dreams come true. When we question our worthiness we dilly dally, procrastinate, make excuses and declare that we can’t – and will NOT – take the steps needed to get to the next level. And (because our lack of commitment) when we don’t get what we want, we say, “See?! I’m not getting what I truly want, so there MUST be something wrong with me. I’m not enough…”
This cycle feeds the addiction of being “right” about being “wrong.” Newsflash: there is NOTHING wrong with you and everything about you is perfect. Room for improvement? Of course. What you GET TO change is your thoughts and your language. First of all, remove “can’t” and “try” from your vocabulary, because every thought and action produces a relatable result. The word “can’t” is a conviction and a death sentence. If you say you can’t, you are absolutely right. If you say you can, you can bet your bottom dollar you’re right!
The word “try” doesn’t imply any commitment at all. It’s an easy way out and it begets mediocrity. If you say to someone, “I’ll try to come to your birthday party…” you create the possibility of not being there and you think it saves you from “breaking your word.” If you say, “I will most certainly be there,” and you mean it, it’s probable that you will show up. Don’t make promises if you aren’t capable of fulfilling them. It’s a win/win for everyone.
Look, I fully understand having good intentions but I’ve learned to be mindful of my language because I know that I can manifest, and un-manifest, anything. I also know how important it is to be my word. I’m not 100% perfect about always following through, but people do know that they can count on me. I’ve learned the value of under-promising and over-performing.
If you say, “I can’t do another pushup…” you’re right. If you say, “I can do 5 more!” you’re right. Your body believes anything you tell it. If I had agreed with my neurosurgeon when I heard him say to my mom, “I know Jenna only has a semester left of high school, but with her brain damage it will be too hard for her to graduate on time. There’s no point in putting her through that stress…” I wouldn’t have graduated on time. But I thought to myself, “I WILL graduate on time! A traumatic brain injury can’t stop me! I CAN and WILL do whatever it takes!”
At the time, I couldn’t put my thoughts into words, but I was clear about my commitment. I made it happen, and I blew my doctor’s mind. If I had accepted his prognosis, I would’ve produced that exact result. Whatever you feel or think – you WILL attract. You’re worthy, enough, capable, PERFECT, and absolutely magnificent. There is nothing you cannot be, do, or have. Believe it. Own it. See it.
