You Can Or You Can’t – If You Say So!

Jenna012313Sometimes we forget how powerful we are. We tend to forget that every single spoken word and internalized thought is a direct message to Source. The Uni-verse hears you loud and clear – even when you whisper, and even when your thoughts are never spoken. We are ONE with The Uni-verse – in the same way that a single drop of water is a part of the vast and massive ocean, and in the same way every cell in our body isn’t separate from our being. We are intertwined, interconnected, and interdependent of the Energetic Magic we feel all around us.

Every thought that we have and every word that we speak has equal power and validation. It is the limiting beliefs that stop us dead in our tracks and the acceptance of our greatness that catapults us into endless possibilities. The only difference between you and someone who is more successful than you is the belief of being worthy enough to have that level of success.

When we believe that we are worthy enough to have everything we’ve ever wanted, we declare that we can – and WILL – take the action steps to make our dreams come true. When we question our worthiness we dilly dally, procrastinate, make excuses and declare that we can’t – and will NOT – take the steps needed to get to the next level. And (because our lack of commitment) when we don’t get what we want, we say, “See?! I’m not getting what I truly want, so there MUST be something wrong with me. I’m not enough…”

This cycle feeds the addiction of being “right” about being “wrong.” Newsflash: there is NOTHING wrong with you and everything about you is perfect. Room for improvement? Of course. What you GET TO change is your thoughts and your language. First of all, remove “can’t” and “try” from your vocabulary, because every thought and action produces a relatable result. The word “can’t” is a conviction and a death sentence. If you say you can’t, you are absolutely right. If you say you can, you can bet your bottom dollar you’re right!

The word “try” doesn’t imply any commitment at all. It’s an easy way out and it begets mediocrity. If you say to someone, “I’ll try to come to your birthday party…” you create the possibility of not being there and you think it saves you from “breaking your word.” If you say, “I will most certainly be there,” and you mean it, it’s probable that you will show up. Don’t make promises if you aren’t capable of fulfilling them. It’s a win/win for everyone.

Look, I fully understand having good intentions but I’ve learned to be mindful of my language because I know that I can manifest, and un-manifest, anything. I also know how important it is to be my word. I’m not 100% perfect about always following through, but people do know that they can count on me. I’ve learned the value of under-promising and over-performing.

If you say, “I can’t do another pushup…” you’re right. If you say, “I can do 5 more!” you’re right. Your body believes anything you tell it. If I had agreed with my neurosurgeon when I heard him say to my mom, “I know Jenna only has a semester left of high school, but with her brain damage it will be too hard for her to graduate on time. There’s no point in putting her through that stress…” I wouldn’t have graduated on time. But I thought to myself, “I WILL graduate on time! A traumatic brain injury can’t stop me! I CAN and WILL do whatever it takes!”

At the time, I couldn’t put my thoughts into words, but I was clear about my commitment. I made it happen, and I blew my doctor’s mind. If I had accepted his prognosis, I would’ve produced that exact result. Whatever you feel or think – you WILL attract. You’re worthy, enough, capable, PERFECT, and absolutely magnificent. There is nothing you cannot be, do, or have. Believe it. Own it. See it.

very inspiring, Jenna. An awesome reminder of our personal power that we have been blessed with. As I read, I thought about what’s happening in my life now and I was like, yes, this isn’t a coincidence – I have verbally, emotionally and mentally asked for this love relationship and it is happening in such an amazing way. If I can do this amazing thing in this area of my life, I can apply the same power in other areas of my life. I declare I am committed to creating loving relationships with myself and others. I declare I am committed to creating plenty money, plenty freedom, plenty adventure, plenty happiness, plenty health and plenty life. I declare I am committed to creating a mindset that believes the desires of my heart are there to be fulfilled and can be fulfilled. I am not alone – the universe wants me to succeed. Thank you, Jenna for this loving reminder of our greatness.

Thanks Jenna!!! The Universe must have just woken me up so that I could read this right at this moment. God has been whispering to me in my dreams, MAKE it happen Colleen! You/WE can do this together! Right now, right this moment. There is no time to waste, seriously!
I am a huge fan of The Daily Love and Mastin and Tommy Rosen and the global communities that they are creating, I love your story Jenna. I too had a big wake up call several years ago which was the Universe’s way of literally pushing me onto my path.I am SO excited because I have been given the gift of synchronicity to help make something amazing happen with The Daily Love tour in Toronto in a couple of weeks…..
.I am putting this out to the Universe and trusting that I will be guided to help make it possible to connect Mastin and Tommy to Eva’s Initiatives, which is a charity that was created by one woman ( Eva) who had the vision to help end youth homelessness in Toronto ( and her work has been used as a model for reducing youth homelessness and harm reduction around the world). One of our shelters provides shelter and love for youth with addictions( these kids have often been turned away by other shelters).I know that Kundalini yoga and the love and inspiration that I have found through the Daily Love and also Tommy Rosen’s online community have changed my life..
SO, I am putting it out to the Universe to use me as a conduit to bring together The Daily Love and our homeless youth – to bring them love and the gift to see their own personal power and uniqueness – on August 24 and 25 in Toronto. Let’s make it happen! ;) xo
