Sometimes what we call tragedy, a mess or a big mistake is an opportunity staring us right in the face.
You see, we see the world through our own mind – which is simply one perspective of the whole. Because of this, we can only see a small part of the bigger picture. When we realize that we are only seeing a small part of the bigger picture, we must pause to ask and see if our view is actually correct. So many people walk around daily believing that the way that THEY see things is HOW it is, INSTEAD of understanding that THEY are how they see the world.
It’s pure arrogance to think that the world is just how you see it. Imagine if that were true. The world would still be flat, there would be zero innovation in civil rights or technology and there would be no progress. This is why it is SO vital to be able to keep an open mind about what’s possible and about what is actually going on.
In Japanese, the symbol for crisis is made up of two symbols, one means danger and the other one means opportunity. There is SUCH wisdom there.
So if we can take a moment and pause and realize that we do not have all the information to assume how life is, but rather, we have a limited perspective and can only see a fraction of what’s really going on, then we make ourselves available to transformation, progress and change. To think that things will always be how they’ve been is BS. If you look at the innovation of technology alone over the past decade, devices that we take for granted today like iPads and iPhones DIDN’T EVEN EXIST!
We must upgrade our internal system at least as often. How many of us have a story or a meaning that we gave the past that has been around even longer than 10 years. We need an inner innovation. We need a recalibration to reveal that perhaps it’s time for an upgrade in thinking, which will lead to an upgrade in action, which will lead to an upgrade in life in general.
Imagine, giving up the need to be right, to be in charge or to feel like you “know” everything. What would that be like? How would your ego take that? AND – what new possibilities would there be in your life?
Can you step outside your current way of thinking and see that there is a bigger picture and then surrender your whole life to the Will of The Uni-verse, who sees and orchestrates it all? Let me know: WhatImGoingThru@TheDailyLove.com or leave a comment!
